Have you ever thought how great it would be to fly like a bird? Well, you can come pretty close with a flight in our sailplane. From the first moment you lift off, you’ll feel the incredible lift under this long-winged bird. Gentle buffets and the rush of air will build anticipation on the ten minute trip behind the tow plane. Then, after reaching an altitude of 1500’ (or more if you arrange for a longer flight), you’ll slip the last bond of earth, and everything will slow way down. The wind will whisper by. You’ll feel the gentlest of air movement all around you. And the quiet naturalness of pure flight will astound you.      We generally offer glider flights on weekend afternoons in good weather. Although no advance notice is required, it’s always a good idea to give us a call to make sure we’re flying it that day, and give us a heads up that you’re coming to soar.
